CarRent.lt is a car rental price comparison website operated as an affiliate marketing service. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to the operators of carrent.lt.

2. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data. When you use our search tool, your search parameters (pick-up location, dates, driver age) are processed client-side and passed to our affiliate partners via URL parameters. We do not store these searches on our servers.

We may collect the following through analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Cloudflare Analytics):

• Page views and navigation data
• Browser type, device type, and country
• Referral source (how you found our site)
• Anonymised click events on affiliate links

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the site and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use CarRent.lt. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent. Our affiliate partners may also set cookies when you follow their links — this is governed by their own privacy policies.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve our comparison service

7. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for 14 months (as per Google Analytics default settings). We do not retain any booking-related personal data.
